TCE is dedicated to informing and mobilizing Texans to protect the quality of our lives, our health, and the environment. We believe that people have a right to know and a right to act on issues that fundamentally affect our lives and future.
TCE is non-partisan, non-profit, grassroots organization that focuses on local and state issues. We influence politics by organizing the voice of concerned citizens and holding decision-makers accountable to public demand. TCE has organized award-winning campaigns to protect our public health and air quality in Central Texas. Polls consistently show Texans support policies to protect the environment and our quality of life; TCE works to give Texans the opportunity to channel that support into action.
We are currently working to keep toxic waste from computers out of our landfills, by instituting a producer take back and recycling program. If you haven't already, please check out our website.
Duties:
We are hiring for an entry-level position with our campaign staff. The position entails raising public awareness of the issue, and organizing the peoples voice to make a difference.
Details:
The hours are 2:00 to 10:00 pm, 3-5 days/wk. Pay is $70/day plus bonuses.
