Lead Planner

Background:

Essex Environmental is a rapidly growing environmental consulting firm
headquartered in Half Moon Bay, California, with additional offices in Carlsbad and
San Luis Obispo, California and Salt Lake City, Utah. Our mission is to help clients
manage the environmental challenges associated with planning, building and
operating complex infrastructure and energy projects.

Duties:

We are seeking a Lead Planner for our Half Moon Bay office. The positions
responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• project management;
• marketing and
  client development;
• designing, writing, and editing environmental reports;
• research,
  data collection, and analysis;
• field surveys and reports;
• and environmental training.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies, Biology
or related field. A Masters degree is preferred.

All candidates will have at least
three years experience in environmental planning and management.

Proven
knowledge of U.S. environmental laws and resource protection principles is
essential.

Candidates should have an understanding of compliance and permitting
issues, project and client management experience and working knowledge of U.S.
regulatory agencies.
