Description
NWF is seeking an individual to manage and lead NWF's Clean the Rain (CTR)
Campaign in its Great Lakes office.
Duties:
This manager will be responsible for:
- Great Lakes Project execution, including the development of policy
positions, advocacy/lobbying to implement the positions, educating the
public and media about the positions; - developing and implementing an ongoing
strategy for communicating, mobilizing, organizing and educating the public
on the CTR Michigan Mercury Phaseout Campaign; - coordinating with development
staff to raise funds from individual donors; and grant management.
Qualifications:

Minimum requirements:
- Master's degree in natural resources management (or
related field) or a law degree, with 3 years of experience; - or a bachelor's
degree plus 5 yrs relevant experience. - Proven track record of fundraising
/grant management skills and project administration. - Ability to work in and
lead a team of people with diverse skills levels. - Knowledge and contacts in
the scientific community, ability to communicate effectively and
persuasively with diverse audiences including, the media, general public,
policy and law makers. - Willingness and flexibility to travel.
NWF offers an excellent benefits package. Salary in the mid $50's depending on
experience.
