Water Resources Specialist

3 WATER RESOURCES SPECIALISTS NEEDED AT FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:

• Central Southern New England (MA/CT/possibly some NH/VT)
• Harrisburg PA area
• NW-PA/SW-NY

Duties:

• Serve as Technical Assistance providers to rural, low-income communities.
• Work with community leaders to solve wastewater and water problems.
• Extensive travel required.

Qualifications:

• Calls for strong skills in water and wastewater infrastructure and related rural development issues.
• Requires an ability to work effectively with rural leaders.
• Some understanding of federal and state funding programs & strong coordination/facilitation skills also needed.
• Computer-literate.
• Five years of previous professional experience working with SMALL communities is desired, complemented by relevant Masters degree.

Salary: $1436 bi-weekly, depending on experience and education.

Employer is a regional, nonprofit agency with home office in Winchendon, MASS.
