We have recently launched our sister company that will take our business into the consumer/retail market. This is a lifestyle brand for health and well-being to aid in customer's everyday healthy lifestyle by providing smaller, consumer size, quantities of our organic ingredients.
Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated, responsible, devoted candidate who is seeking for a long-term career to assist in the distribution office of our companies. Experience with MAC computers and software (Pages, Numbers, etc.) is mandatory.
An ideal candidate is a dynamic and outgoing Administrative Assistant that can work independently to organize and supervise all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth and efficient running of our distribution office. The Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Office Manager and the CEO.
The Administrative Assistant carries out a range of administrative and warehouse-related tasks, organizes companies samples, international freight , LTL freight shipments and small package USPS/UPS.
Responsibilities
Typical Work Activities:
- Using a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases;
- Managing electronic filing systems;
- Management of social media's sales logistics;
- Works with bookkeeper to create and maintain inventory control system;
- Record office expenditures;
- Organize and maintain supplies of all shipping supplies, stationary, printed material, and equipment;
- Arrange for necessary repairs;
- Respond to customer enquiries, provide information, price quotes
- Reviewing and updating companies organic and kosher certificates and insurance polices;
- Attending conferences and training;
- Assists with developing video shorts for "nubeleaf screen cuisine"; and
- Preparation of trade show materials - booth updates and designs with CEO.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Must have knowledge of and be highly proficient in a variety of Mac computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (iWork, Adobe).
- Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
- Excellent proof-reading and documentation presentation skills.
- Demonstrated good judgment for interruptions and appropriate actions regarding concerns.
- Accuracy and attention to detail; good follow-up skills are essential.
- Experience with Social Media and online marketing (on a commercial level).
- Familiarity with wellness industry and a passion for health.
- Strong attention to detail in proofreading.
- Must attend at least 2 trade shows a year.
- Must have a dependable transportation.
Education:
- BS or BA from accredited University/College required.
