SR Inc is a private, mission driven, research and consulting firm dedicated to accelerating the development and adoption of best practices in more sustainable business. SR Inc provides shared-cost research and consulting on management best practices to corporate and government executives responsible for optimizing large budgets.

Position Overview

SR Inc seeks a highly motivated sales person in Greater Boston with 1-3 years experience selling to Fortune 1000 executives. Optimal candidate will have experience successfully selling for leading corporate real estate firms such as CBRE or JLL or for membership based companies like the Corporate Executive Board or the Advisory Board Company; and will have a developed interest in more sustainable business. 

Many talk about "embedding sustainability in corporate operations" but SR Inc has been helping Member Executives dojust that for more than six years. Successful candidates will be confident they can bring the benefit of SR Inc's annual Advisory Service in more sustainable operations to top, relevant, corporate decision-makers. 

These postions are part-time leading to full-time positions. We're seeking Candidates in greater Boston only.

Responsibilities

  • The sales associate will qualify, win, schedule and facilitate a minimum of two meetings a week with Directors of Corporate Real Estate, Director of Corporate Operations or Portfolio Managers who are responsible for large leased or owned real estate portfolios nationally.
  • The Sales Associate's title will be "Manager, Membership Development" and she or he will serve as the junior sales partner to SR Inc's most senior executives. 
  • The position will enable the successful candidate an opportunity to see many aspect of a growing, mission-driven company in the burgeoning field of corporate sustainability. 

Qualifications

  • Successful candidates will have strong professional references as well as a demonstrated commitment to professional excellence, client service and teamwork.
  • Educational or work experience in more sustainable business or organizational practices are preferred, but not required.
  • 1 to 3 years of successful sales experience is required.
  • An enthusiasm for - and natural ability in - selling and helping to serve corporate decision-makers in Fortune 1000 companies.
  • The ability to meet or exceed aggressive monthly, quarterly and annual goals.
  • The ability to exemplify integrity, professionalism and collaboration as part of fast past team focused on customers success.
  • The ability to lead company selected prospects through a six stage selling process and record it in Company's CRM.
  • Report supported weekly meetings with senior company managers regarding progress and improvements.
  • Strong personal and professional references are required.

Compensation: Up to $2,500 monthly, depending on experience, as well as substantial additional variable compensation based on commissions.
