Description
Seeking students for fall and spring semesters who are interested in working on web sites that promote sustainable food and energy issues. The web sites include: www.sustainabletable.org, www.factoryfarm.org, www.gracelinks.org, www.abolitionnow.org and the Webby Award-winning www.themeatrix.com.
We are looking for a hardworking highly motivated individual to update websites with news stories and other content. Duties may also include link checking, text editing, and laying out pages. The intern will assist the GRACE Web Developer on all projects.
Qualifications:
Must have experience building websites using Dreamweaver. Individuals should be organized and detail oriented, with excellent writing skills as well as excellent research and phone skills. Interest in non-profits, sustainable food and energy issues is a plus.
Other qualifications:
GRACE is seeking college students/graduates who can commit to a min.3 hours/week. Hours are flexible, but regularity is important. There could also be some general office work. Students are asked for a one semester commitment, though we are always happy to extend the time. We offer reimbursement for local travel and a small stipend for lunch on days in which you work 4 hours or more.
