Description

Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for working with funding sources, managing existing grants and writing new grants to support the District's watershed/water quality initiatives. Works directly with individual landowners, conservation groups, and towns to complete grant work consistent with the District mission.
  • Works independently while cooperating with Executive Director and other staff to manage District projects.

Qualifications

  • Needs excellent organization and communication skills. Familiar with natural resource issues, particularly water quality and wildlife habitat related. River and stream knowledge beneficial.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is essential, GIS experience is beneficial. Some field work is expected. Able to travel locally. 

Compensation

Expected pay range $31,000 - $45,000. Full-time with flexible hours. Some evening and weekend hours expected.
