Through the stories of these animals, children learn about the impact that we have on our environment and how they can personally make a positive and immediate difference.
Earth Rangers is housed at a new facility located at the Kortright Centre for Conservation, north of Toronto. The center is one of the most energy efficient buildings of its kind in Canada featuring a 100% radiant heating and cooling system, a 98% closed loop wastewater system, “Earth Tubes” to pre-temper outside air and a unique exterior window film to prevent bird strikes.
Position Overview:
The Finance and Administration team is looking for motivated and energetic individuals to provide administrative and reception services for Earth Rangers guests and staff. Responsibilities include answering and transferring telephone calls, providing outstanding customer service, assisting with administrative functions as required, providing support for daily operating functions, greeting guests that enter the centre and preparing couriers. Each shift is three hours, 11 to 2 pm Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Being dependable and accountable.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Computer skills (Microsoft office knowledge, typing skills, ability to use the internet and email).
• Experience in providing customer service.
• Reception or administrative experience an asset
What time commitment is required?
• Available for 1 or more days weekly.
• As training is involved a long-term commitment is ideal.
