Description
Greenergy International Limited was founded in 1992 by Andrew Owens. The
group currently employs around 50 staff and operates throughout the UK,
Germany and Switzerland. The company supplies an integrated package of
sustainable/renewable fuels, energy and knowledge management systems that
enable corporate clients to manage and profitably reduce greenhouse gas
emissions, particularly CO2. Greenergy International Limited has an annual
turnover of c£90m, of which £70m is generated through clean fuel sales to
major clients.
The Position:
The UK Sales Manager will lead a fuel sales team of three.
·Identify opportunities for profitable long-term growth. He/she will have the
ability to seek out, negotiate and close large-scale deals with major
corporate and public sector clients.
·Design and implement a business development plan, defining goals, targets,
actions and timing.
·Identify opportunities for sales of the Greenergy Fuels portfolio into
existing and new accounts across the UK.
·Manage the prospecting, lead generation and sales activity.
·Establish the appropriate level and quality of contact with the existing
and potential clients.
·Ensure the effective management of the sales team, including recruitment,
training, motivation and leadership.
·Manage the logistics and delivery of products within the UK
The Ideal Candidate will have:
·A good degree in a scientific discipline.
·Five to ten years sales management experience gained in a competitive
business-to-business environment.
·Direct experience of identifying, negotiating and closing multi-million
pound deals.
·Proven track record in the delivery of growth and profitability targets
·Well-developed communication /presentational skills/ personal credibility &
gravitas.
·High energy and self-starting ability, capable of working with a wide
degree of autonomy.
·Demonstrable sales management skills.
·Strong project management skills
·Good analytical skills and strategic vision.
·Flexible and comfortable working within a rapidly changing environment.
·Strong people-management.
