Description
To perform planning tasks in the areas of:
*Transportation Planning
*Federal, state and local funding acquisition
*Evaluating relevant economic, social and environmental issues
*Representing the commission at outside meetings
*Strategic Planning
*Evaluating auto accident data
Position requires a bachelor degree in
Urban/Regional Planning; Civil Engineering; or Public Administration
and a minimum of three years professional related work experience. Working knowledge of SEMCOG (Southeastern Michigan Council of Governments) policies and procedures desirable. Excellent verbal and written skills are a must along with computer spreadsheet usage, statistical analysis, and GIS knowledge.
Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse for costs associated with interview travel, or subsequent relocation, if hired.
