Are you looking for action? Need new stimulation on the job? Then read this!

The Greenpeace USA Toxics Campaign is hiring a new campaigner to work in
our Washington, D.C. headquarters. We are looking for
someone with at least 7 years experience in campaigning.

Duties:

The successful candidate will have science and policy background in order to
translate/interpret technical information to the media and public in the form of
written documents, reports, testimony and news
stories.

Qualifications:

A degree in environmental sciences or public health is preferred with training
in policy issues.

Additional skills and knowledge include: grassroots organizing, strategizing,
public speaking, participation in non-violent protests, ability to work both
independently and as part of a team, experience in working with people from
all walks of life and having an understanding of environmental justice.

Fluency in Spanish would also be desirable.
