Position Overview
The Prism Care Corporation is seeking candidates for the position of North America Sales Manager. This postion will cover territories in the Northeast region, including: CT, NJ and NY.
Responsibilities
- Develops key account sales plans and executes brand strategy to grow sales of the Company's consumer products to independent health food retailers and assigned mass market accounts.
- Actively calls on and sells into key retail customer headquarters and independents accounts both new and assigned.
- Achieves sales goals in the assigned territory.
- Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with key account buyers.
- Communicates promotional programs to key accounts and distributor account managers.
- Places turnover orders and directs orders as appropriate.
- Visits retailers and educates staff through aisle training and group meetings.
- Generates sales opportunities through referrals, cold calling, emails, networking; expands customer base and leads.
- Attends industry trade shows and represents the brand.
- Develops and implements annual planograms for key retailers and distributors.
- Works with retailer's distributor and account manager to create order demand and report activities and results.
- Gathers competitive marketplace information on products, pricing, trade terms, merchandising and makes timely recommendations accordingly.
- Resolves customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
- Communicates with retailers, distributors and management in a professional, positive, accurate and timely manner.
- Manages approved business expenses in a responsible and timely fashion.
- Plans and organizes a daily work schedule. Completes territory travel efficiently for geographically grouped store visits.
- Submits weekly activity report to management.
Qualifications
Experience/Education:
- College Degree.
- A self-starter with a minimum of five years outside sales experience in Natural/ Health food channel required.
- Excellent communication, time management and organization skills.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- A high level of motivation with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point and Internet literacy.
- Familiar with ACT or other CRM databases.
