Position Overview:
Organic Mechanic is looking to hire a bright person to provide technical advise to customers. You will operate from your own high speed internet connection as an independent representative of OM, providing product support to customers through calls, chats, and emails.
The products you support are alternative energy in nature and can be reviewed on OrganicMechanic.com. You will be expected to know about these solutions and to provide accurate advice to customers. You can learn much of this on the job and will be able to contact suppliers or conduct research when it is necessary. However previous experience in energy - and in sales and service - is a big plus.
Responsibilities:
Your schedule will be very flexible, and essentially it will be up to you to choose when to serve customers. As long as each customer is served within 12 hours of contacting OM, with a target of less than 6 hours being ideal. In the beginning you will likely be able to handle the job by logging in for just an hour or so once or twice a day, as per the interest coming in that requires your help. Customer interest is increasing as marketing increases so there will definitely be more work for you. The more available you make yourself to provide faster service, the better customers will be served and the more enthusiastic we will be to work with you.
Qualifications:
This position is available to anyone with the proper skills and attitude. It may be very appealing to a sharp college student who is studying engineering, sales, or environmental science. Retired professionals, customer service firms, and home office based virtual assistants are all also welcome to apply.
Compensation: You will be paid $8 per hour biweekly and will log into a spreadsheet online to input hours and which customers you helped. If this is a relationship that works well for both parties then the responsibility load and your pay may be increased.
