Description

Responsibilities will include:
* Responsible for the technology infrastructure including planning, managing, administrating, and support of all systems, networks, and telecommunications for a successful and rapidly growing company
* Web Server Administration
* Firewall/Security Administration
* User Support - Install, add, test, troubleshoot, repair, move, change-out, maintain and upgrade PC's, laptops, printers and other peripherals
* Manage backup of file servers, email, and databases
* Daily maintenance of Microsoft Exchange Service, Active Directory Services, data back-up and recovery functions and server operating systems
* Provide IT functions including application development, database, systems & network administration
* Receive objectives from senior management and collaborate on the most appropriate process for accomplishing goals
* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of output and deliverables for functional operating companies
* Implement the policies, practices, and procedures of the company and IT organization
* Oversee information systems function for a site, system, or special initiative including quality assurance/quality control
* Evaluate all directives, change orders, and projects as to their impact on tactical plans, budgets, and contract compliance
* Manage resources effectively and efficiently to support the company's operational needs and strategic initiatives
* Report project status and progress to Director of IT
* Anticipate departmental and company needs, and create flexible plans to meet changing opportunities
* Investigate current and emerging technologies and evaluate how they may support the company's technical requirements
* Establish positive relationships with business users
* Ability to perform light lifting (up to 50 pounds)
* Some travel may be required and a valid California Drivers License
This position will report directly to the Director of IT.
Qualifications include:
* Experience managing applications in a sales and an importer/distributor environment preferred
* Associates or Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent experience preferred
* 8 years experience in systems implementation support and maintenance
* Strong knowledge of Windows 2003 Server &Active Directory & Microsoft Exchange 2007
* Backup/recovery solutions
* Ability to analyze, evaluate, and make skillful decisions while considering the cost implications of the decisions
* Able to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
* Must be highly proficient with PC & LINUX applications and current software platforms
* Familiarity with business operations
* Ability to handle work pressures while maintaining focus and staying on track with goals
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, project management, analytical, and tactical planning skills
* Ability to translate complex technical information into understandable terms in order to keep other departments informed of developments affecting their functions
* Excellent technical, systems administration, phone system administration, user support and vendor management skills.
* Technical skills must include All MS Office Applications, Linux and Mac OS X, IIS, OFFICE 2003 & 2007, Quickbooks,
* A deep understanding of HTML, PHP, MYSQL, ASP, JAVA, Web Development
* Experience setting up IT infrastructure
