About WRI: The World Resources Institute (WRI) is an environmental think tank that goes beyond research to create practical ways to protect the Earth and improve people's lives.
Major Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to SEP's sustainable business projects by assisting with: maintenance of SEP's database and website; general program support and outreach; assistance with project launch events; identifying and tracking key media contacts; discrete research projects; and fundraising identification and support.
Qualifications: This position requires an astute, detail-orientated self-starter with strong oral and written abilities, researching, writing and editorial skills, and excellent computer experience. The ideal candidate has experience in non-profit support and/or communications and demonstrates an ability to successfully juggle multiple priorities, while working independently, and as part of a team.
Internship Period: Available immediately; Summer Internship, with possible extension.
Salary: $10-12 per hour, no benefits.
