Position Overview 

We're the creator of SeaSuite, the leading cloud based platform for commercial real estate operations and ongoing sustainability management. Our team is seeking a Sustainability Manager who is an entrepreneurial minded and seasoned sustainability professional with experience in commercial real estate. Our office is located in downtown Chicago.

Our platform collects multiple data sources and distills them into powerful analytics that optimize whole-building and whole-portfolio performance. Our technology transforms big data to reveal opportunities and reshape business strategies. Our users save time and money as they handle more than 750 million square feet from the cloud. Responsibilities 

When you join Goby, you will be responsible for: 

• Building successful client relationships
• Business development
• Ongoing support and expert resources for LEED certifications as well as other sustainability initiatives
• Leading successful discussions regarding budgeting, planning and ongoing tracking for LEED re-certifications and other projects as assigned
• Understanding of sustainability in standard methodologies for commercial real estate
• Utilizing a software platform to manage and track building performance
• Support to and mentorship from client Program Managers
• Customer presentations and training courses 

Qualifications 

You'll do best if you possess or can demonstrate the following skills, accreditations and abilities: 

• Project Management
• Client Relationships
• LEED Accredited Professional (AP) or Green Associate willing to achieve AP
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Entrepreneurial attitude and independent and adaptable worker
• Ability to articulate abstract concepts to specific results
• Creative thinking and problem-solving with a positive attitude
• Skilled with standard Microsoft software applications
• Willingness to travel

Compensation: Your salary will be commensurate with 3-5 years of experience in a related field. We offer medical and dental benefits as well as an available 401K.
