In just 2015 alone, iReuse helped one client save 6700 trees and $7.6 million through paper suppression programs. iReuse is searching for a creative and proactive sustainability management consultant with several years of enterprise experience who is interested in helping drive change.

We do this by working extremely closely with our enterprise clients all the way from initial program assessment, planning and goal setting, through achieving goals.

Position Overview

Are you passionate about sustainability and looking to help drive significant change with Fortune 1000 companies? This is a part-time Independent Contractor postion that works from home and at client sites in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

Responsibilities 

• Drive change - This often means being the creative thinker, the motivator, the data manager, and knowledgeable industry professional. You must be able to choose your battles wisely and then drive programs to achieve results.
• Sell your vision and goals - Sustainability often comes down to sales: who needs to be involved in a project, what are their motivations, what are the impacts, and what do you need to do to achieve goals. 
• Client management - You must be able to set clear expectations, what the plan is to achieve goals, and meet or exceed those goals. 
• Client Partner - Clients need to have complete faith in your ability to make it work. 
• Problem solver - You will be confronted with a myriad of challenges. It will be your responsibility to understand these challenges and how they impact the ability to achieve program goals and then act accordingly. 
• Program expansion - Expand current relationships with clients and create new clients by supporting iReuse's reputation as a great partner and industry thought leader.
• Team player - Many projects are a collaborative effort with the CEO of iReuse, other iReuse team members, and the client teams.  

Qualifications 

Desired Experience 

• 5+ years experience in Management Consulting.
• 2+ years experience in corporate sustainability programs.
• Strong ethical approach to business practices.
• Ability to work independently and excellent cross-functional teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment, and wear multiple hats.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills to handle multiple concurrent activities.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• A desire to work hard and have fun doing it.
• Undergraduate degree required.
