Sustainability Engineers for international sustainability software and services firm.

Position Overview:
The Challenge:
As a Sustainability Engineer, you will be working with clients internationally and supporting leading architecture practices, government agencies as well as energy services professionals in designing (new build as well as retrofit) highly sustainable green buildings. You will also be leveraging knowledge acquired through client engagements in shaping our products. This position is an excellent opportunity to join a young business with a big mission, exciting uses of technology and plenty of growth ahead.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- Strong fundamentals in thermal engineering and thermodynamics
- Proven contribution to a research or industrial project in thermal or fluid sciences
- Experience in engineering software such as Pro/E etc.
- Experience in developing engineering programs/utilities in programming languages such as Matlab, VBA or similar
- B.S./B.Sc. in engineering (M.Sc. a plus)
Nice to Haves:
- Familiarity with sustainability strategies employed in buildings
- Understanding of real world sustainability issues as applicable to the built environment
- Experience with energy modeling of buildings using eQUEST, TRNSYS etc.

Location: The position is based in New York city (Astor Place), with frequent travel to customer sites either near your base location, or internationally as required by clients.
