Position Overview
Partner Energy is looking for a Sustainability Coordinator to work in our Torrance, CA office. The Sustainability Coordinator will be an entry level technical resource assisting in project work that is incorporating sustainable development practices into their projects, including LEED, Green Point Rated, and other third party green building rating systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in technical requirements and analysis to support LEED and other green building projects
- Work with Technical Director and Project Manager in the completion of multiple sustainable projects from start to finish
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in the Green Building industry
- Work on at least 2 LEED projects in any role or 1 LEED project through Certification.
- Minimum LEED Green Associate certification or (LEED AP preferred) or Green Point Rater Certification
- Engineering or Architecture degree preferred
- Engineer or Architect license a plus
- Construction experience a plus
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Travel 25%
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Ability to read, understand and interpret building floor plans, site plans, and zoning maps
- Experienced t in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and LEED Online
- Knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
- CALGreen and Title 24 energy code experience a plus
Compensation: Salary is $38K + commensurate with experience.
