Position Overview 

The Sustainability Analyst will undertake tasks that will include: 

* input into sustainability assessments of organizations, including supply chain sourcing, waste stream assessments, and baselining/benchmarking; 
* cost-benefit analysis related to specific actions required to make organizations more sustainable; 
* life-cycle costing of green procurement options; 
* development of sustainability check-lists for user sustainability evaluation;
* assessment of new environmental technologies to create value; 
* research into current sustainability trends and initiatives in the marketplace 
* ecological and carbon footprint analyses 
* input to written reports and presentations 
* contribute to training programs

Travel Requirements: Candidate will be expected to travel to various customer sites along the East Coast. 

Requirements 

* Minimum 5 years experience in corporate social responsibility research, assessments and sustainability program assessments; GRI Reporting; organizational sustainability planning; and implementation of sustainability action plans.
* Minimum Bachelor's Degree and preferably Master's in an environmental, sustainability, or corporate social responsibility business area.

Plus experience in a minimum of three of the following areas:

* Demonstrate experience and accomplishments completing technical, economic and risk assessments of Sustainability technologies, options, and programs
* Experience contributing to the development of supply chain, value chain processes, and the ability to contribute to Sustainability Action Plans and Management Systems * Domain experience demonstrated accomplishments in completing waste stream analysis, tracking and mitigation; water quality supply and disposal management assessments; smart growth strategy and program initiatives and contributions to completing sustainability plans and programs. 
* Demonstrated experience completing life cycle analysis, supply chain assessments, contributing to GRI reports, LEED building plans, etc.
* In addition, excellent oral and written communications are required plus demonstrated ability to work with MS Word, Excel, MS Project, and statistical applications.
