Summer Marketing Internship

GreenWeb is a company committed to environmental issues and sustainability. Renewzle is the first “green” web tool developed by GreenWeb. Renewzle is designed to help consumers better understand the financial and environmental effects of solar energy in a detailed and comprehensive way. In addition to evaluating the financial implications of going solar, Renewzle helps consumers shop for a solar system, affording the opportunity to request quotes from all the installers in their area and select the retailer that provides the best possible value and service.

Intern Description:

Responsibilities will include researching websites and web discussion focused around solar energy, documenting those websites, organizing solar resources for Renewzle’s users, reaching out to potential partners, posting listings on directories, and more. In this internship, you’ll learn more about the solar industry, be part of an exciting start-up, and gain great online marketing experience.

Required Skills:

We are looking for web-savvy interns with great online research skills. Knowledge of and interest in solar energy is ideal, as well as a willingness to help out with both the fun and the tedious projects. Great communication skills and an ability to learn quickly are important as well.

Our company is headquartered in downtown San Francisco with remote staff throughout the country. Your work can largely be done virtually, although preference will be given to candidates local to our office. Interns should feel comfortable working independently, and virtually.

Time Commitment: Internships are unpaid and require a three-month or semester-long commitment, with a minimum of 10 hours of work per week. Internships are available only to currently enrolled college students, who will receive credit for the experience.

Anticipated start date in May/June.
