Position

Ashoka is seeking a talented team player to join its Finance department as a Staff Accountant. This position provides an interesting opportunity for a Finance professional with interests in civil society and international issues. The Staff Accountant’s duties include A/P, A/R, C/R, G/L and general administrative duties.

Qualifications

·BS in Accounting

·Fluent command of English

·High degree of initiative and ability to work independently

·Some experience in an automated accounting environment preferred

·Experience with Great Plains Dynamics preferred

·Detail oriented and well organized

·Proficiency with Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, Outlook), Internet, Microsoft Access
