Job Description Summary for Sr Lead Sales Management Advisor, Sustainable Finance role

We are seeking a dynamic & driven candidate to support Sustainable Finance growth. The individual will be primarily responsible for managing various business development initiatives to grow Sustainable Finance platform within BOW’s Corporate and Commercial Banking division. This position will develop sales programs integrating Sustainable Finance offerings as well as go-to-market strategies driving new business acquisition, revenue, and profitable loan growth. The position will work with and support Head of Sustainable Finance to develop internal and external facing programs and collaborate with various functional partners (Marketing, Data & Analytics, Finance, Learning & Development).

Essential Job Functions

  • Design & implement ESG business development strategies to increase client engagement and commercial loan growth.
  • Execute external partnership and innovation initiatives. Help build and integrate new sustainability offerings & climate transition tools into BOW solutions. Increase client engagement and ESG financing.
  • Manage internal development programs including training within Corporate & Commercial Banking Verticals and Coverage teams to educate and increase ESG skills of bankers to drive sustainable finance & investment opportunities for the clients.
  • Manage external events including webinar series on key topics in the intersection of sustainability and finance. Manage all aspects of delivery working with key partners.
  • Establish internal routines to craft and share communications on Sustainable Finance happenings.
  • Act as a primary liaison for the Sustainable Finance Group in developing overall marketing strategy. Direct collateral development, corporate communications, website, and Intranet content development.
  • Assist in determining Sustainable Finance performance metrics & goals, activity tracking and assessing performance vs goals.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors or a post-graduate degree
  • A sustainability-related degree is considered a plus

Work Experience:

  • Between 5 - 10 years of commercial, corporate environmental or financial sector experience.
  • May have deep knowledge of project management and good knowledge of data & analytics.
  • Prior ESG program management or business development experience is considered a plus.

Skills:

  • Good knowledge of banking products, sales and marketing, and financial services.
  • Collaboration – influencing team, partners & colleagues.
  • Passion for Sustainability with interest in developing and advancing a career in Sustainability.
  • Analytics and research.
  • Budgeting and reporting, strong planning and organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills.

Compensation 

  • Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate is $106,200-135,700. The base salary opportunity can vary based on candidate’s geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
