Position Overview:

Paramount Energy Solutions (PES) provides photovoltaic (PV) solar systems, solar financing and solar leasing solutions to residential homeowners looking to save money on their utility bills while making a positive impact on our environment. We offer one-of-a-kind solar technologies and proprietary solar leasing and financing alternatives that allow you to position and sell the benefits to a large customer base.

PES is looking for energetic, motivated and experienced inside sales professionals to join our solar team (previous solar sales experience preferred, but not required).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with previous and new residential customers via company-provided (inbound) leads as well possessing the ability to self-generate opportunities on your own
  • Generate detailed (technical) solar sales proposals on a regular basis for a multitude of residential customers
  • Analyze and determine client product needs and clearly articulate the benefits of what a solar system, and Paramount Energy Solutions in particular, offers the customer
  • Communicate all facets of both the contract and installation phases with the client
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals within a competitive sales environment
  • Cross-sell insurance and solar financing/refinancing options when applicable and appropriate
  • Provide excellent customer service while fulfilling the overall needs of both the client and the company

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college (preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years of proven sales prospecting, negotiation and closing experience
  • Self-motivated and extremely goal-oriented (must love to sell!)
  • Ability to meet and exceed individual goals while working within a team environment
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Salesforce.com or other CRM experience a plus)
  • Familiarity with CEC, PG&E & City / County solar processes & requirements
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and attire
  • Ability to work mainly in an office Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

  • Highly-competitive commission pay structure that includes a monthly draw guarantee
  • Fixed salary for the first 3 months on the job plus commission so you have time to get started out on the right foot
