GreenBrilliance offers commercial, institutional, and utility customers large efficient photovoltaic solar facilities, in a package with development services, financial and tax efficient structuring, operation and maintenance services and monetization of key incentives. Our customers include retail, office and industrial property owners and users, REITs, townships, state and federal government, educational institutions, as well as solar developers and institutional investors utilizing solar modules for large farms.

Position Overview:

We are a solar energy company looking for an experienced sales professional to manage the entire sales process for PV systems, from generating qualified leads to closing sales and maintaining ongoing relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record for closing sales, a deep understanding of the renewable energy industry, and be able to translate that into appropriate solutions to meet customer needs. This position will directly report to the company's Managing Directors.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify opportunities, including actively networking and cold-calling to a defined set of target prospect accounts
  • Contact prospects and partners via several channels including email, marketing mailers, networking events, and seminars to communicate solar energy opportunities appropriate to the audience
  • Field inbound calls and leads from various sources and qualify for business potential
  • Manage an entire sales cycle with an exceptionally high level of attention to detail
  • Complete detailed site surveys using solar industry equipment on the roof or ground, as appropriate
  • Manage RFI/RFP preparation for large clients, whether corporate or in the public sector
  • Mentor sales associates and support the managing directors in their selling initiatives
  • Travel required within sales region

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • 2-5 years prior experience selling PV systems and growing the business, including conducting site surveys
  • Understanding of the renewable energy industry, grid-tied solar electric sales/design/installation, and Federal and Local incentives
  • Fundamental understanding of the economics of solar energy and PV systems
  • Understanding of bidding processes for municipal projects and large commercial clients
  • Self-motivated, energetic personality with exceptional sales skills as well as willingness to initiate and implement process improvements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proposal writing
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline
  • Preferred: NABCEP Certification, solar installation certification, or any other renewable energy certifications or educational background. (would consider candidates with a 2-year degree and NABCEP Certification)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Power Point for client presentations and Excel for economic analyses
  • CAD or other design experience a plus

Compensation: We offer competitive benefits, bonuses, and incentive programs, with no cap on commissions earned. Annual earning potential is $60,000 to $100,000+. We offer an amazing opportunity to make the world a better place and for you to help us grow our organization quickly.
