Position Overview:
Our established solar design and installation business seeks a highly experienced, successful solar sales consultant. We focus primarily on residential installations, with some commercial applications.
Responsibilities:
- Meet individual and team sales targets: Generate, manage, follow up on qualified leads
- Prepare timely and accurate proposals and present to prospective clients
- Perform site visits, draw roof diagrams, take measurements and photos, and other related tasks
- Research, compile and present financing options and current incentives to clients
- Provide post-installation client orientations
- Guarantee excellent service and support to prospective and existing clients
- Communicate effectively and diplomatically in all public and staff interactions
- Be an up-to-date solar expert, regarding products, utility rates, incentives, trends
- Participate in marketing and outreach projects, and presentations
- Work with administrative, design and installation staff for smooth, timely work flow
- Prepare and submit weekly sales reports, summaries and documents, accurately and on time
- Comply with all Steele Energy Solutions policies, procedures, work flow systems and legal requirements
- Perform assigned tasks willingly and on time, and work at least 40 hours per week
- Attend and actively participate in all relevant Steele Energy Solutions meetings
Qualifications:
Only candidates with the following qualifications will be considered: Proven expertise in consultative solar sales and customer service, extensive solar-related knowledge, passion for renewable energy, high communication and collaboration skills, and integrity. Candidates must be highly proficient in Excel, Word, Google applications (Mac OSX, CAD expertise desirable). Solar industry certification is a plus. Must be able to reach, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs, and use a computer for several hours at a time.
Compensation: Commission Only
