JAZZ Solar Solutions is a Canadian solar startup based in Ottawa founded by technology entrepreneurs and business experts from the Energy, Telecommunications and Construction industries. We are dedicated to helping the homeowners, businesses and municipalities of Ontario Province participate in the Ontario Power Authority's(OPA) new Feed-In Tariff (FIT) programs offering financial incentives for solar installations.
Position Overview:
Looking for motivated people to join our Solar Sales and Consulting Team, to help us educate the customer and find a Solar Solution for their needs.
Responsibilities:
(include but not limited to)
- Technical Sales
- Solar Site Surveys
- Managing Feasibility Studies
- Preparing Proposals
- Representing JAZZ Solar Solutions at shows and events
- Project / Client follow up
- Weekly Reporting on Progress
Qualifications:
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Have good listening and problem solving skills
- Demonstrate a care for the customer and be able to earn the customers trust
- Be a good representative for the company and industry at selected conferences, tradeshows, and seminar events
- Work well and find synergy in a team environment
- Demonstrate devotedness and add energy to the team
- Have a good understanding of the renewable energy marketplace, technology and industry.
- Demonstrate passion for solar energy
- Have a minimum 5 years of sales experience.
- Have previous experience selling in a consultative sales environment (a definite plus)
- Be able to travel and make presentations at customer's location
- Be experienced in home renovation or construction
- Dedicate primary focus to Solar Sales (Full time preferred)
Compensation: Commission based sales position. Preference to Full Time
