Position Overview:
Think you have what it takes to participate in the fast-paced solar market? Do you have a natural aptitude for sales and marketing? Are you passionate about renewable energy and the change in lifestyle it will bring in the coming years? Solar Universe is actively hiring a sales team to find, qualify and advise potential customers on the benefits of going solar.
Responsibilities:
will include but not be limited to:
- Sales of residential and commercial solar electric systems
- Prospecting for and qualifying leads
- Conducting site surveys for potential customers, rough system design
- Closing deals and signing contracts
- Estimating and pricing systems with built in margins
- Analysis of customers' electrical usage
- Negotiating contracts
- Communicating with project manager regarding system design
Qualifications:
- Must be *very* proficient at computers - excel, word, internet, salesforce.com
- Experience with solar electric installation, design, or sales a PLUS!
- Proven track record of producing sales
- Some understanding of general construction
- Ability to read, understand, and edit electrical and structural plans
- Excellent customer service skills and experience
- 4-year college degree
- Reliable transportation
Compensation: This position is COMMISSION only.
