Description
Southern Energy Management (SEM) is the largest sustainable energy services company in North Carolina. We provide high performance building/energy efficiency consulting and verification, as well as renewable energy solutions to the residential, commercial and industrial markets. Our customers range from homeowners to niche green builders and from production builders to large multi-national companies.
Our team includes engineers, building scientists, plumbers, electricians, solar specialists and home energy raters (HERS) who provide cost-effective, sustainable energy services to our residential, commercial and industrial clients. The breadth and depth of our team allows us to bring a holistic approach to our work and to provide optimal solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily scheduling (6-8 crews)
- Job tracking (labor & other costs)
- Materials management
- Purchasing
- Pulling materials & job prep
Field time: 20 to 30%
Office/warehouse time: 70 to 80%
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Experience purchasing, scheduling, creating/working with electrical/plumbing systems (solar systems a plus).
- Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Access, AutoCAD (or equivalent).
- Strong interpersonal skills are required.
- Building plan take off experience a plus.
- Electrical license strongly preferred.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
