Solar Outside Sales Representative

Position Overview:

Develop and grow solar PV equipment sales business in the Oahu market among: solar integrators; electrical contractors; and solar project developers.

Responsibilities:

• Establish technical credibility and develop positive business relationships with key solar customers
• Generate and grow solar equipment sales for residential, commercial, and utility scale solar PV projects
• Assist customers with: project development; equipment specifications and Bill of Material; Utility requirements; and project financing
• Manage solar equipment sales process from initial bid through equipment delivery and payment
• Interface with administrative staff to manage each project (purchase orders, opening job accounts; commercial credit applications, etc)
• Provide forecasting to WESCO purchasing to assure effective inventory levels
• Represent WESCO at solar industry events in Honolulu

Qualifications:

• College degree
• 3+ years of experience in solar PV design; solar PV project management; or solar PV sales
• Ability to discuss technical solar PV equipment and design issues with customers
• Strong sense of customer service
• Good organizational skills
• Self-Starter
• Good Driving record
