Sky High Energy specializes in Photovoltaic (Solar-Electric) Power Systems for residential, commercial, and community applications in Arizona & New Jersey. We are a growing company who is looking for people to take advantage of the opportunity in front of them. We are very focused on selling with honesty and integrity.
Due to growth, we are currently seeking Solar Installers with construction backgrounds to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for experienced installers who are hard-working, quick to learn, and committed to being successful in a team environment. Solar installers are responsible for aiding the installation solar electric systems to meet each customer's specific energy needs. Installers are expected to work Monday thru Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Layout and assembly of solar modules / array and mounting hardware.
- Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment.
- Maintaining inventory for each installation.
- Electrical wiring of solar array/system.
- Clean up of job site.
- Attend required training sessions on products, installation methods and safety.
Qualifications:
- General construction and construction safety experience required.
- Previous experience in PV installations and roof work preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring of AC and DC systems strongly preferred.
- Experience with the safe use of hand-held and power tools..
- Ability to work in extreme environments such as hot sun, crawl spaces, etc.
- Ability to travel to office and jobsites throughout Arizona.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Strong team communication skills.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Compensation: Hourly wage
