Description
Light Energy Systems, the San Francisco Bay Area’s leading design/build solar contractor, is currently seeking a Solar Electric Project Engineer to be based in our office in Concord CA. The primary job responsibilities are to perform site evaluations, design photovoltaic systems for commercial and residential sites, develop project quotes, and secure contracts. The successful candidate would also prepare presentations and reports for large commercial/residential projects and bid pools.
Qualifications:
BS in Engineering or 4 years experience in a professional engineering position. Understanding of electrical circuits. Proficient in Vectorworks or AutoCAD. One year sales experience or equivalent customer interaction preferably with architects, engineers and other technical professionals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Experience in the solar, electrical or energy industries preferred.
