Position Overview 

We are looking for a new member to join our growing sales team who will serve as a full-time Solar Design Consultant. This entrepreneurial person is self-disciplined and results driven, with a passion for sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a flow of SolTerra and self-generated leads throughout the sales process.
  • Helping generate leads (i.e. networking events, trade shows, etc).
  • Consulting with potential customers on-site to determine feasibility of solar.
  • Designing solar energy systems to meet individual client needs.
  • Collaborating with the operations team through the installation process.
  • Managing customer relations post-sale to boost future referrals and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Representing SolTerra at industry events (trade shows, industry outreach opportunities and neighborhood events).
  • Identifying business development opportunities and executing on them.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Relevant outside sales experience (2-5 years is preferred).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated high degree of diligence and accountability with strong results.
  • Motivated to achieve goals in a performance driven sales environment.
  • Relevant industry experience a bonus.

Compensation: Base salary, plus commission. Benefits include paid holidays, PTO (paid time-off), medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
