Description

We are primarily an energy equipment installation company. We design, purchase, install, and repair all types of solar energy related systems. While the majority of our projects are grid-connected solar PV systems, we also design and install off-grid PV and solar thermal systems. We are expanding further offering construction services, and other energy options.

Position Overview:

The qualified individual will function as the project lead and have 2 years of experience supervising construction projects from start to finish. The primary objective is to develop methods to organize manpower and materials in ways that maintain or increase project efficiency.

This individual will also be regularly installing and prepared to lead by example in a wide range of weather conditions and elevated locations. The actual work will often be on various types of rooftops, in confined equipment rooms, outdoors, or in a warehouse. This job requires prior relevant experience, those without need not apply.

The working area for this position is the Denver Front Range area from Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs. A job van may be provided upon approval by insurance company. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Install solar equipment, and small structure construction
  • Lead installation technicians with a distinct ability to drive project efficiency and group morale
  • Able to work in both a team environment as well as independently with minimal direction
  • Prompt and professional disposition
  • Working within a construction budget and monitoring project costs
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and codes
  • Thoroughly communicate and document project status and other project related correspondence
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Provide training to new hires (both technical and safety)
  • Communicate with stakeholders and resolve conflicts 
  • Coordinate the"Apply Now Online!"  scheduling and installation of solar (all solar technologies) energy products
  • Monitor, organize, and maintain warehouse Inventory
  • Order materials and coordinate deliveries
  • Ensure a clean and orderly jobsite and warehouse
  • Perform timely, quality work
  • Expected to take continuing education courses and always be knowledgeable of emerging technologies and concepts (education reimbursement available) 
  • Ensure crew and job site safety 


Qualifications:


Position Requirements

  • 2 years construction supervisor experience with a proven track record of improving efficiency
  • Residential/Small commercial construction knowledge or experience
  • Experience coordinating construction projects and scheduling manpower
  • Experience working within a construction budget 
  • Valid CO driver license with no traffic violations that would prohibit insurance
  • Must deal honestly with clients and coworkers
  • Must have reliable transportation 
  • Must be legal to work in the United States
  • Familiarity with general hand tools and small equipment use and maintenance
  • Proficient at dynamic problem-solving, both schedule and technical
  • Be physically and mentally capable of performing required work scope
  • Comfortably able to lift 75lbs, climb ladders, and work on roof tops in varying temperatures 


Preferred (not required)
 

  • Provide own hand tools and test equipment
  • NABCEP certification or other related Licenses or Certifications
  • 30 hour OSHA
  • Solar equipment installation experience preferred but not required 

Compensation: $20/hr +/- depending on experience, certifications and or licenses.
