Position Overview:
cieTrade Systems is a specialized IT company that helps support environmentally friendly and green, industries around the planet. Our software solutions are used by recycling companies and by traders of recycled material to help make their businesses more competitive and efficient. Due to an increased demand for our innovative products and services, we are currently seeking a technically innovative and creative individual to assist in the continuing progression of our core products and services. In this role, you will design software components, database objects, and reporting services that will benefit many of the top recycling companies and commodity exporters both in the United States and internationally.

Responsibilities:
As a Software Developer for cieTrade, you will develop, create and modify software using the latest Microsoft technologies including .NET, SQL and ASP.NET. You will also be in direct contact with key stake holders and clients to help identify business requirements and deliver solutions. Additional responsibilities for the Software Developer include:
- Designing and implementing desktop application programs in VB.NET with Visual Studio 2010
- Developing data objects and procedures with Microsoft SQL Server 2010
- Conducting software system testing and validation procedures
- Analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within given time and cost constraints
- Maintenance and debugging of existing software
- Performing quality control procedures with QA staff
Qualifications:
As a Software Developer for cieTrade, you must be committed to understanding our mission, our industry, our clients, and the technology we use to bring it all together. We are seeking passionate, dedicated and self-directed individuals with an eye for detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional requirement of the Software Developer include:
- Minimum 2 years experience with Microsoft.NET framework (VB.NET, ASP.NET)
- Proficiency working with SQL data objects, writing procedures and performance tuning
- Knowledge of ASP.NET architecture and development
- Crystal Reports, SQL Reporting Services and other experience with reporting tools, a plus
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Management or Computer Science, preferred
