Senior Staff Attorney

Trustees for Alaska, a non-profit, public interest environmental law firm, is seeking candidates for a full-time Senior Staff Attorney position in Anchorage, AK. Qualifications:

An ideal candidate will have 6 years of environmental litigation experience and a demonstrated commitment to environmental protection. The position calls for:

• creative problem-solving;
• excellent writing;
• managing an active judicial, legislative and administrative docket;
• effective legal research and analysis;
• ability to understand scientific principles and methods;
• capacity to handle a substantial workload;
• high degree of professional integrity;
• courtesy and diplomacy in dealing with colleagues, clients, opposing counsel and government agencies;
• and a sense of humor.
