Position Overview
NewFields Sediment Management and Marine Science group is interested a candidate who is an experienced engineer and can contribute to a Sediment Management Practice and expand business opportunities.
The appropriate candidate should have the necessary technical background and experience to manage and execute sediment dredging, capping, and remediation projects including
design, alternatives analysis, and construction oversight.
Responsibilities
- Project lead for the remediation of the impacts of contaminants, including oil spills, on aquatic resources;
- Synthesis and communication of technical data in presentations and written reports;
- Preparation of technical documents;
- Project management;
- Client communications;
- Willingness to manage & mentor staff; and,
- Business development.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- The position requires superior written and oral communication skills, and the ability to interface effectively with personnel and clients.
- Education Requirement: Minimum of a MS degree
- Experience Requirement: 10+ years
- Required Registrations/Professional Designations: PE
- Required Travel: To be determined
- Location: Flexible, greater Boston, Houston, or Seattle area preferred
Compensation: Salary is negotiable and based upon experience.
