Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will function as a member of the management team and be responsible for monitoring all aspects of a client and projects to ensure the highest quality of the work and problem solving, meeting the client's and company's expectations for function, aesthetics, schedule and budget. Additionally, the Sr. PM will also serve as a senior project team member and senior client liaison between client and company.
Candidates must possess project management skills, have a proven track record in successfully managing multiple projects and/or clients simultaneously and be a registered architect.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Registered Architect
- Professional Degree in Architecture
- 10-15 years of experience in commercial, call centers, mixed-use and some residential multi-family
- Posses a thorough knowledge of architectural detailing and construction methodology
- Ability to review and coordinate engineering documentation and the work of other consultant disciplines to assess compliance with the design concept
- Possess a knowledge of products, materials, construction techniques, industry practices and their application as an integrated process
- Understands the components of construction drawings and specifications and the ability to review documentation prepared by others
- Knowledge of handicapped codes and standards
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to motivate and supervise the work of others
- Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and graphic communication skills
- Demonstrated literacy with word processing and CAD software
- Possess excellent organizational skills
- Ability to utilize AutoCAD and three dimensional/presentation applications along with project management and scheduling software programs
- Ability to investigate/explore LEED certification for client initiated projects
- Maintain and uphold quality standards for technical and design documents
