AKT Peerless provides a full range of environmental services designed to fulfill project requirements from initial assessment to completion, regardless of the complexity.
Responsibilities:
- With internal support from existing client base, must be able to manage and support an environmental team of up to 4 professionals.
- Manage and oversee technical staff conducting Phase I ESAs, Phase II Subsurface Investigations, underground storage tank investigations and closures.
- Participate and support Brownfields projects
- Successfully undertake and complete SRP, TACO, and NFR Projects.
- Client development and management.
- Strategic planning and implementation as it relates to the Chicago operation.

Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Geology, or Earth Sciences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Environmental Due Diligence, Brownfields, and/or Remediation experience.
- Site Remediation Program (SRP), Tiered Approach to Corrective Action (TACO), and No Further Remediation (NFR) experience.
- 10+ years of project and office/staff management experience.
- Experience with client cultivation and management
- Staff management and mentoring.
Preferred:
- Updated 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.
- Professional Engineer (PE), Certified or Professional Geologist (CPG, PG), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), or other related licensing/certifications.
- Illinois Asbestos Building Inspector.
- Lead-Based Paint Inspector.
