PECI is an energy efficiency consulting agency that designs and implements energy efficiency programs and research for utility companies and governmental agencies. Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Portland, Oregon, PECI has a longstanding tradition of pairing innovation with practicality to deliver customized energy solutions in building commissioning, retrocommissioning, and new construction with focus on HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, and appliances. 

Position Overview:

PECI is looking for a Senior Project Coordinator to work on a large, multi-state program in conjunction with a well established team. This role will work closely with various cross-functional teams in creating and managing systems for tracking program budgets. This position is also responsible for implementing and executing program deliverables and assisting in developing and updating budget metrics and processes.

Ideal candidates should have extensive experience managing multiple, high-quality deliverables on tight deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills, proven ability to multi-task and attention to detail are essential. Successful candidates will be highly organized, detail and solution oriented and team-focused. A background in the energy efficiency and utility business environments is a plus as is an understanding of the utility regulatory process.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and communication of reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the performance of benchmarks for goal setting, metric and dashboard development
  • Assist in the design, development and implementation of comprehensive program annual budget processes including revision of current process
  • Develop financial tracking model and track business performance
  • Analyze business and financial conditions and their impact on the program
  • Provide support to team members to ensure program meets compliance requirements
  • Assist in performing monthly invoicing, billable analysis, utilization and effectiveness and efficiency measures
  • Plan, track, analyze and communicate complex financial and performance data to inform business decisions
  • Support other cross-functional team members as needed
  • Execute special projects as directed

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and provide support to all team members
  • Strong financial and performance management background required
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with the proven ability to collaborate and work effectively across diverse work groups with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Advanced Excel skills required. Proficiency with Word and PowerPoint required. Access skills are a plus
  • Highly competent verbal and written communications
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
  • Practiced ability to communicate with a variety of different stakeholders
  • Superior organization and time management skills
  • Ability to think and communicate creatively and strategically with strong problem solving skills and a high attention to detail
  • Experience working independently in a rapidly changing environment in a fast growing company
