Senior Program Manager

Position Overview:

The Senior Program Manager will lead one of the company's largest programs. The position will manage program development, lead the program team and ensure effective implementation of kWh savings in the commercial market.  The project team includes local, remote and indirect reporting staff.  This position will be accountable to exceed the client's expectations.  The successful candidate will continue building a trusted relationship with one of the company's largest clients.

PECI lives in a rapidly changing environment. This person must be able to maneuver quickly between big-picture design, implementation and coordination details. The ability to easily switch gears between strategy and execution in response to unexpected events and circumstances is required. The position needs a person who is comfortable in a world of ambiguity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage large programs and/or groups of programs, including responsibility for developing work plans, making assignments, and assuring success of the program(s)
• Serve on the business unit's leadership team and support PECI's efforts to remain a leader in an evolving market
• Continuously assess program progress and develop creative solutions to new issues or market information
• Continuously and aggressively identify and evaluate new methods for the delivery of energy efficiency services for clients within the constraints of the program budget
• Develop partnerships with subcontractors and other industry affiliates
• Serve as a liaison between internal and external clients including partners, end-users and other stakeholders
• Lead team in evaluating and developing company responses to Requests For Proposals (RFPs)
• Develop and manage program budgets
• Represent the company to clients and industry associations, including presentations and networking

Qualifications:

• A desire to become an invested partner with our clients; able to lead clients to new levels of performance
• Exceptional attention to detail and customer service with a client that is very detail oriented
• 5-plus years of experience in program management, preferably in a professional services environment
• Ease and experience with technology and its application
• Experience in professional services contract development, negotiation, and management
• Successful experience in a fast paced organization that has experienced significant growth
• Ability to understand market dynamics and implement innovative solutions during the life time of a large program
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with all levels of an organization
