Responsibilities:
- Develop product line architectures for both domestic and international markets
- Maintain product road maps for each relevant market covering timing of new product introductions
- Stay abreast of relevant markets and customer trends
- Define new product plans, specify technical attributes, and implement product development plans in conjunction with the Engineering team
- Take the lead in management of product development projects
- Establish and execute product introduction strategies
- Develop pricing, discounting, distribution and integration policies with regard to products
- Participate in selling situations including tradeshows and on-site customer visits with Sales
- Be an expert with respect to competition
- Regularly perform pricing and competitive analysis by customer channel and recommend strategies to improve market position, improve quality or reduce costs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing products, from development through launch
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- 6+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate own and others' actions, manage own time and manage personnel resources
- Bachelor's degree in technical field
- Technical background, with experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, battery storage or renewable energy industry
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Demonstrated ability to meet or beat assigned targets and deadlines consistently
- Must be able to travel 25% of the time
