3 Phases Energy Services is a national leader in marketing renewable energy solutions and services to utility, corporate, government, nonprofit and residential customers across the United States. 3 Phases' services include green pricing program design and implementation, 100% renewable electricity direct access services, onsite solar photovoltaic and efficiency system installation services, and retail and wholesale marketing of tradable renewable certificates (TRCs).

POSITION OVERVIEW
This candidate will be responsible for managing the TRC procurement and financial functions for 3 Phases' Utility Partnership/Green Certificate Division.
* Determining renewable resource procurement needs, including modeling historical and projected needs across all utility partnership and retail and wholesale certificate program areas and developing plans for the timing, volume, geographic origin, and type of renewable resource to be procured at least risk.
* Contracting for Renewable Resource: Identifying and working with renewable energy project developers, wholesalers, originators, and brokers of renewable energy across the United States to develop renewable energy supply sources, negotiate terms and conditions, and execute contracts securing renewable supply for 3 Phases Energy. This individual will work directly with project developers and other originators making financial commitments to help assure the financial solvency of brand new and recently built renewable energy generation facilities.
* Contract Management: Managing all aspects of contract administration, including interactions with Accounts Payable; credit evaluation; reconciliation activities; and facilitating the proper transfer of legal documentation to 3 Phases.
* Financial Management: Preparing and managing profit and loss and cash flow statements for the division.
* Managing Green-e Verification Process: Managing the preparation and submission of all forms and procedures related to the Green-e certification verification process and assuring existing sales, marketing, and contracting processes comply with Green-e protocols and procedures.
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE
While no specific experience is required, strong/ideal candidates will have:
Strong knowledge of the renewable electricity and the tradable renewable certificate (TRC) markets
Experience with power plant development, power procurement, and a deep understanding of the motivations of renewable energy power plant developers and intermediaries
Substantive experience negotiating, executing, and managing contracts
Experience developing and managing profit and loss and cash flow statements in a growing enterprise.
Experience managing teams of individuals and being a principal player in bringing a growth-stage enterprise to scale
A willingness to help out with any and all functions as may be commonly necessary in a small organization
Passion to enter a growth-stage enterprise
Experience operating in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Desire to be more fulfilled in this role than in any other in his/her life
Candidate Experience: 8-20 Years
