GRB Environmental Services, Inc. (GRB) is an environmental consulting firm established in 1985. GRB specializes in full-service environmental engineering, hazardous waste investigations, hydrogeology, site remediation, PRP searches, enforcement support, permitting and regulatory affairs, landfill engineering, groundwater monitoring, property transfer audits, environmental impact statements, ACM and lead paint surveys/monitoring/abatement oversight, and public relations issues. The firm consists of engineers (civil, chemical, and environmental), scientists (geologists, biologists, hydrogeologists, toxicologists, and chemists), and hazardous material specialists.
GRB has worked on a variety of high profile multi-year environmental projects in USEPA Region 2 including the $1 billion Williamsburg Bridge Rehabilitation Project, $600 million Fresh Kills Landfill Permitting and Facility Upgrade/Closure/Monitoring, $100 million USEPA Technical Assistance Team - Region 2 USEPA, $100 million EPA RAC2, the $90 million USEPA START Program - Region 2 USEPA, and the $20 million USEPA Region 2 RST program. To date, GRB has worked on hundreds of contaminated sites within USEPA Region 2 boundaries, including the Millville Municipal Airport for which it won the American Academy of Environmental Engineers national Honor Excellence Award.
GRB has offices in New York City (Corporate), Edison, NJ, Dallas, Texas, Seattle Washington, San Francisco, California, and Rome, Italy.
Position Overview:
Immediate need to fill full-time position in the environmental field. Looking for environmental engineer with 4-7 years of experience and BS in Environmental Engineering or closely related engineering discipline from an accredited engineering program. Professional Engineering License in New Jersey or New York a plus. Must have field experience in soil and/or groundwater sampling techniques. Knowledge of USEPA low-flow groundwater sampling techniques and CADD experience a plus. Will consider experience level outside this range for the right person.
Although the position will be based in midtown Manhattan, New York, projects will entail performing oversight activities at Superfund sites located in New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 40-hour OSHA Hazardous Waste training
- Experienced with USEPA sampling requirements
- Contamination assessment and remediation experience
