The combined staff of Energy Finance Analytics and PM Environmental includes skilled professional scientists, architects, engineers, project specialists and management consultants, and specialized CAD, GPR, and equipment operators providing services to a mix of commercial, industrial, governmental, and municipal clients. Position Overview:
EFA is seeking a senior level (8+ years experience) Energy Engineer in the Grand Rapids office location. This is a full-time position in the Energy Services department.
Job description includes evaluation of energy conservation measures, energy optimization incentives, preparation of necessary reports, and client management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of energy efficiency related experience required. Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan (or have the ability to become licensed) with a background in HVAC engineering and Electrical Engineering. LEED-AP & Certified Energy Manager (CEM) accreditations preferred. Candidates should be familiar with regulatory energy disclosure issues (CA AB-1103, etc) and energy optimization incentives from the federal, state, and local governments as well as utility companies and how they apply to buildings. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in energy simulation with Trane Trace or eQuest.
Strong verbal communication, writing and client management skills required. Bachelor's Degree required.
