Position Overview:
TrustElement is looking to expand our Energy Efficiency practice. You will be expected to contribute in helping evolve TrustElement's Energy Efficiency discipline to the next level.
Leading our approach to Energy Efficiency from within a practice-centered team, this is an exciting, high-profile, future-focused opportunity to play a key role at the heart of Energy Efficiency Solutions at TrustElement. Senior consultants lead the development and delivery of our client engagements, driving projects on behalf of TrustElement and with responsibility for TrustElement representation on key energy and carbon consulting working groups.
Responsibilities:
Specifically, the Senior Energy Efficiency Consultant will:
- Design and implement Measurement, Verification, and Tracking (MV&T) plans for energy efficiency and demand reduction programs
- Perform energy modeling to support the energy efficiency goals of our clients
- Gather baseline and post-implementation energy consumption data to calculate, validate and verify the energy savings of energy efficiency, cost-reduction and demand reduction programs
- Prepare reports and deliverables for internal stakeholders, as well as external disclosure and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with energy efficiency managers to improve data quality, gathering and reporting
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified
- Minimum 4 years knowledge of relevant energy planning, modeling and efficiency consulting
- Specific experience around energy management strategies, feasibility assessments and energy audits
- Understanding of general climate change and environmental issues a must
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of client organizations and with key stakeholders
- Mentoring and peer training abilities
