About the Position 

We are looking for a senior consultant to work closely with our CEO in Los Angeles – located in a co-work space on Hollywood Boulevard. 

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of our newest office gaining experience in client work and business development focused on west coast companies. The position will also have close day-to-day links to projects led by our New York team.

Key Responsibilities 

• Client Management – Project manage key client relationships contributing directly to their sustainability strategy, reporting and communications work.
• Business Development – Work with our CEO to identify and pursue new business opportunities and prepare proposals.
• Communications strategy – Help devise and implement sustainability communications strategies for clients with a focus on social media. 

Qualifications 

Candidate Requirements: 

• At least 5 years of professional experience required with previous experience working in the corporate sustainability/CR field. Management consulting, PR and in-house corporate roles are most relevant.
• A bachelor’s degree ideally in a related discipline, master’s degree preferred but not essential.
• A passion for sustainability and a desire to be fluent in the full range of corporate sustainability issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; an ability to write clearly in English under time constraints.
• A keen interest in business and an understanding of the corporate world.
• An outgoing personality with a knack for relationship building and passion for client service.
• A full understanding of digital communications media.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Authorized to work in the United States – minimum five years.
