Corporate Information on EcoSecurities

EcoSecurities develops carbon offset projects in the areas of renewable energy, agriculture and urban waste management, industrial efficiency, and forestry. The firm has been involved in some of the biggest milestones in the history of the international carbon market, including the first Kyoto project to be registered by the United Nations and the first project to receive Certified Emission Reductions (CERs).

In 2006, EcoSecurities was voted 'Best Project Developer' by Point Carbon and Environmental Finance Magazine. EcoSecurities also has one of the largest dedicated consulting teams in the world relating to climate change-related services. Our experience in this area has been widely recognized, as evidenced by having been voted "Best Advisory Service" for Kyoto Protocol markets by readers of 'Environmental Finance' magazine for the sixth year in a row (2001-2006). Additionally, EcoSecurities has achieved a ranking of 48th in The Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For Awards 2007 in its first year of entry.

EcoSecurities recently acquired Trexler Climate + Energy Services, Inc. (TC+ES), an internationally recognized leader in the field of climate change risk management and greenhouse gas emissions reduction and offset strategies. TC+ES was one of the first firms in the climate change field and was a provider of high-quality information and reliable consulting services. TC+ES worked primarily in the private-sector GHG risk-management market and actively supported voluntary mitigation efforts at the corporate as well as state and local levels, the development of "climate friendly" consumer markets, the identification of cost-effective GHG mitigation projects, and the design of credible emissions trading programs.

As EcoSecurities Global Consulting Services, TC+ES principals work with clients from operational to CEO levels, in capacities ranging from outside expert to task force support to regulatory expert witness, and will continue to provide cutting-edge policy development support in several areas, including forestry and climate change, early action crediting, project-based emissions trading systems, and state and local climate change policies and measures.
