Job Description
The Manufacturing & Life Sciences Business Group of CH2M HILL has an immediate need for an Architectural Group Leader. Our projects include various types of heavy industrial projects including Aviation/Aerospace, Consumer Products, Discrete Manufacturing, Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical facilities.
This position will lead concept and on site projects. Duties will consist of master planning activities, detail design and review, process and material flows, programming, room lists and finishes schedules, budget and schedule control, assist in presentations, proposal preparation and client meetings in a lead capacity.
This full-time position involves working as part of a multi-discipline team focused on industrial projects for municipal and private clients. Project responsibilities will include feasibility and planning studies, full design and construction document services, and services during construction. Additional responsibilities may include client and technical presentations and business development activities.
Project delivery platforms will include design/bid/build and design/build. The company supports and delivers projects with state of the art tools including 3-D design software and Building Information Modeling.
Basic Qualifications
- BS degree in Architecture
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in all phases of design
- Possess knowledge of codes, building materials and building systems
- Registered Architect
- Experience working on pharmaceutical facilities
- Space planning experience is required
- Proficient with AutoCad in 2D and 3D design
- Experience in the application of rendering software
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Revit is a plus
